§ Provide support, advise and recommendations to the President of Puntland, State House, and line ministries in the achievement of their mandate;

§ Support the President’s Office to achieve the goals set out for youth and women in Puntland, and working closely with the relevant line ministry;

§ Advised the President and Minister of Communication on Puntland Communication ACT, Communication policy, Communication strategy, ICT policy and Social media policy;

Communications and Visibility Expert - LINPICO, EU Somalia NAO Project

EU Somalia Technical Assistance to the Office of the National Authorizing Officer (NAO) in Somalia. The project is implemented by Linpico and my role included: 

  • Development and implementation of communications and visibility strategy (including Action Plan) to achieve enhanced visibility of EU funded projects and programmes in Somalia.
  • Building the capacity of the NAO office to implement the communications and visibility strategy through delivery of capacity building training workshops, mentorship and hands on learning.
  • Preparing documents such as briefing notes, press releases and fact sheets.
